In 2007, the Shelby Cullom Davis Foundation invited Westminster School to be one of five pilot schools to participate in the Davis International Scholars Program, which aims to promote international understanding and cross-cultural connections across boarding school campuses and around the globe. Almost two decades later, the program continues to enrich the experience of all students on the Westminster campus.
Davis International Scholars Program
The Davis International Scholars Program at Westminster provides support for four to 10 international students, who exhibit outstanding leadership potential and come from places around the world not typically represented in the student body. Although Westminster has always had students attending from many countries, this program expands the school’s recruitment of prospective students from other nations as well as from diverse ethnic, religious and socio-economic backgrounds.
One of the ancillary benefits of the program is that upon graduation from Westminster, Davis International Scholars are eligible for continued scholarship support for four years of higher education.
Westminster Davis International Scholars
Since the program began, Westminster has welcomed Davis International Scholars from Afghanistan, Austria, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Colombia, Egypt, Ghana, Guernsey - Channel Islands, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Jamaica, Latvia, Malaysia, Moldova, Nigeria, Poland, Slovakia, Somaliland, Turkey, Uganda, Ukraine and Vietnam.
Eligibility
Only Fourth, Fifth or Sixth Form (sophomore, junior or senior) applicants are eligible for the Davis Scholars International Program.
All international applicants from countries, regions or groups not typically represented in the student body are considered for the Davis International Scholarship program. While no additional application materials are required for consideration, please feel free to e-mail
